Digital seminars abound in the months ahead
If the idea of spending a week with some of the finest photographers in the world, seeing and using the Nikon D1X, and even meeting me face to face appeals to you, consider attending the Digital Summit Workshop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming this April. Canon rolls out D30 Auto Power Off fix
Canon has developed a fix for the EOS D30 that will eliminate the tendency of certain units to spontaneously power up within one second of automatically powering down. The fix will require owners of affected units to to turn them over to Canon service for warranty repair. Nikon's Australian distributor posts information on Nikon D1H, D1X
Maxwell, Nikon's Australian distributor, earlier this week posted several pages of information on possible new digital SLR cameras from Nikon. On Friday the pages may have be pulled from the web site, or the server was taken offline. Steve's DigiCams, a web site that does not appear to be working under a Nikon non-disclosure agreement, has now posted much of the info from the still-offline Maxwell site.
