Status of Digital Camera Battery up in the air?
(UPDATED) Sometime in the last week, the website of Digital Camera Battery has gone offline, and of the various phone numbers we have for the Florida-based company, only the fax line seems to be fully operational. Combine that with a growing volume of email recently from photographers unable to reach the maker of portable power sources for flashes and digital cameras and the signs were pointing to difficult times at Digital Camera Battery. We heard from company president Tim Dodge via email late today, and he indicates that simultaneous phone system and bank snafus are responsible for the disappearance of their website and the inability to reach the company by landline. "All should be straightened out in a few days or less," says Dodge.

This all sounds good, but does it translate to Apple's newest MacBook Pro 15 inch - which is the first laptop of its size to incorporate an LED backlight - being better than previous Apple laptops for the viewing and editing of pictures?
