LPA Design has released public beta firmware v4.374 for the PocketWizard MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 for Canon. Changes since the company's first public beta release of firmware for the radio remote devices last month include automatic camera model detection for all compatible Canon digital SLRs, the ability to enable pre-flash boost at the transmitter (it was limited to the receiver previously) and the addition of the Metz 58 AF-1 to the list of flash units compatible with the MiniTT1 and FlexTT5.

Canon Canada institutes flat rate shipping for CPS members
Canon Canada has instituted flat rate shipping for camera equipment sent to its service centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Available to Canadian Canon Professional Service (CPS) members only, the cost of shipping is fixed at CDN$10 per shipment to Canon from any Purolator location in the country, and CDN$10 for the return trip (this latter fee is waived when the repair is done under warranty).
