| Canon Picture Style Editor, EOS Utility updaters posted |

Canon USA has posted updaters for its Picture Style Editor and EOS Utility applications for Mac and Windows, as well as Original Data Security Tools for Windows only.
Picture Style Editor 1.6.1 and Original Data Security Tools 1.7.1 add support for the EOS 7D and EOS-1D Mark IV. EOS Utility 2.7.2 (Mac) / 2.7.3 (Windows) does too, plus enables mirror lockup shooting as well as the setting of AEB, drive mode and flash options. These added capabilities are restricted to certain newer Canon digital SLRs.
The updaters are available from several of the digital SLR support pages on the Canon USA website, including the page for the EOS 5D Mark II. Follow the link, click the Drivers & Downloads tab and then choose your operating system to access. For some or all of these updaters to run, you must have at least one of several Canon applications already installed, or have a Canon software CD, such as an EOS Digital Solution Disk, mounted.

Links to these updaters on the Canon USA site were not functional earlier today. The problem has now been fixed.
