| Canon to release EOS-1D Mark IV firmware update later this month |

Canon is preparing a firmware update that "enhances the AF tracking performance of the EOS-1D Mark IV for receding subjects and for subjects that are approaching at a low speed." Firmware v1.0.6 is slated for release towards the end of the month.
