| Apple releases Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.1 |

Apple has released Digital
Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.1 for the Mac OS, which adds
support for the RAW formats of 11 new digital cameras, including the Olympus E-P1 and EP-2 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1.
The full list of newly-added camera
formats is as follows:
- Hasselblad H3DII-50
- Leica M9
- Leica X1
- Olympus E-P1
- Olympus E-P2
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1
- Pentax K-7
- Pentax K-x
- Sony Alpha DSLR-A500
- Sony Alpha DSLR-A550
- Sony Alpha DSLR-A850
Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.1 is available via the
Software Update mechanism of Mac OS X v10.5.8 or 10.6.2 and later, or as
standalone updater.
Apple's support page for the update mentions only
Aperture 3 and iPhoto '09 as the beneficiaries of the new RAW format
support in this release.
