| Canon Canada now accepting applications for revised CPS program |

Canon Canada has begun accepting applications for its revised Canon Professional Services offering. The tiered program institutes yearly fees of either CDN$100 for Gold or CDN$250 for Platinum level membership, in exchange for discounts on service, access to service loaner gear and gear for rent plus other benefits. The changes follow similar CPS revamps in other countries.
The Gold level membership does not require the applicant to be a working professional, though anyone applying must meet certain equipment ownership requirements.
More information is on the Canon Canada CPS Program Details page. All existing CPS memberships will expire on July 1, 2010. Anyone wishing to be a member of the new CPS program must (re)apply.
