| Adobe posts release candidate of Camera Raw 6.1 for Photoshop CS5 |

Adobe has made available for download a release candidate of Camera Raw 6.1, the next iteration of its RAW conversion plug-in for Photoshop CS5. Camera Raw 6.1 includes support for RAW files captured with Canon's EOS Rebel T2i/550D plus nine other models from Leaf, Olympus, Panasonic and more. It also adds the lens correction feature of Photoshop CS5 itself to the plug-in, fixes a bug and improves control and scrolling responsiveness.
Camera Raw 6.1 for Mac and Windows, as well as DNG Converter 6.1, can be downloaded from the Adobe Labs site. A previous article highlights the changes in Camera Raw 6.1, relative to 6.0 (which ships with Photoshop CS5 currently).
