The last Kodachrome ever produced by Kodak, a 36-exposure roll for 35mm cameras, has been shot by photographer Steve McCurry and processed earlier this month at the only remaining facility capable of handling the venerable film stock.
More information and photos are in a story in
The Wichita (Kansas) Eagle as well as on NPR. To learn more about Kodachrome's history, see how it's being shot by fans and to discuss the film in its final days, visit The Kodachrome Project.
Thanks to Nick Didlick for bringing this to our attention.
