Rocky Nook has published a book by Calgary, Canada based author and photographer George Barr titled "Why Photographs Work. 52 Images: Who Made Them, What Makes Them Special and Why". The book examines 52 images made by accomplished photographers in an attempt to explain the elements that make an image great and includes commentary by the photographers themselves about their images.
List price for the book is US$39.95 in the U.S., but we found it selling for US$24.95 at major online book retailers.
