| Elinchrom releases EL-Skyport WiFi app for iOS devices |

Elinca has released EL-Skyport WiFi, an iOS app that enables Elinchrom RX-series flash units to be controlled from an Apple iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. The free app works in conjunction with the EL-Skyport WiFi module, which is not yet available, though it's possible to run the app in demonstration mode to get an idea of its features.

A note on the Elinchrom website says a firm release date for the EL-Skyport WiFi module has not been set. The company blames "delayed component supplies to Elinchrom."
