PCMag reports that researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany have created a 62,500 pixel (.o6-megapixel) digital camera that measures 1 x 1 x 1 millimeter, or about the size of a coarse grain of salt. It includes a lens, and its creators believe it's the world's smallest camera. Medical endoscopes would be the primary application for this camera, according to Fraunhofer.
