Adobe has released Photoshop CS5 12.0.4 for Mac and Windows, an update that enables mobile device remote control support and corrects several crashing bugs related to the use of the Type tool, Sharpen filter, making quick selections and more.

Once installed, it's possible to communicate with Photoshop CS5 from Adobe's three previously-announced apps for Apple's iPad, called Nav, Color Lava and Eazel. As of this writing, the apps are not yet available in the iTunes App Store.
