The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) publishes
dpBestFlow.org, a web site focused on digital imaging workflows.*
The web site is part of a project funded by the U.S. Library of Congress to "create guidelines for refined production workflows, archiving methods, and best practices for digital photography based on a variety of capture methods and intended image use." Based primarily on the work of authors Peter Krogh, Richard Anderson, and Patti Russotti, the web site includes extensive information on more than 50 topics from image capture through long-term photo archiving.
* Correction 11:30 MT: The dpBestFlow.org web site is not newly launched, as we originally stated, but the site still contains a wealth of potentially useful information for photographers, so we're leaving this link intact.
