Magnum has begun a documentary photography experiment in the form of a series of road trips around the U.S. called "Postcards From America". 

In the first trip five Magnum photographers — Paolo Pellegrin, Jim Goldberg, Susan Meiselas, Alec Soth, and Mikhael Subotzky — are taking a bus from San Antonio, Texas to Oakland, California accompanied by writer Ginger Strand. They're publishing a photoblog as they go, and Magnum will also be producing postcards and a limited edition book. 

This trip began on May 12th and will end this Thursday the 26th. Apparently, there will be future similar trips, but no details are available yet.
