Canon has issued a revised schedule for the release of the four new supertelephotos and 8-15mm fisheye zoom it announced last year.
The Canon USA release plan is now as follows:

- EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM - Late August 2011
- EF 500mm F4L IS II USM - December 2011
