Singular Software has posted a free beta version of PluralEyes, its automatic audio-to-video synchronization software, that incorporates support for Apple Final Cut Pro X.
Called PluralEyes for Final Cut Pro 2.1.0 (6166), the beta software is available for download now. A new license of the final version will be US$149. The update will be free to licensed users of the existing Final Cut Pro plug-in.
Instructions for using PluralEyes with Final Cut Pro X (v10.0.2 or later is required) are here. As you'll see, the software runs as a companion application to Apple's newest video editor rather than as a plug-in per se.
