Pelican Products has used the opportunity presented by this week's CES show to re-announce a series of 5 slim hard cases for portable electronics that the company first unveiled last November.
The cases, called
the HardBack lineup, were co-designed with BMW DesignWorks and are crush-resistant and watertight. The line begins with an 8-inch model that fits smaller tablets and eReaders such as the Nook Color, Kindle Fire, and Samsung Galaxy. There are three 10-inch models: one that fits larger tablets such as the Apple iPad; another that fits a 10-inch tablet plus other accessories such as an external hard drive; and a third designed specifically for the iPad along with the Apple Wireless Keyboard. Two larger cases are meant for 14 and 15-inch laptops.
