| ioShutter cable now to ship "by February 2012" (updated) |

Photography accessories maker enlight photo now says the ioShutter cable will ship "by February 2012", which presumably means before the end of this month. The cable, when used with a companion app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, enables these devices to fire a connected camera. A free Lite version of the app is already out, while the cable (which will come in both 2.5mm and Canon N3-socket versions) had originally been planned for release in December of last year.
Update, January 23, 2012: We've heard from enlight photo's James Madelin that the ioShutter cable is to ship within the month of February and not before the end of January.
