Phase One has lowered the price of the various editions of its raw converter and photo workflow software, Capture One. And in addition to the price reduction, there is a further 30% discount on all Phase One software, including Media Pro 1, in effect until March 25th, 2012. The combined price reduction and sale means a full license for Capture One Pro 6 can now be had for US$209. Upgrades from previous versions of Capture One Pro are now US$69. Discounts also apply to Capture One Express 6 and to upgrades from older Express and LE editions to Capture One Pro 6.

At the same time it reduced the price, Phase One has also extended the free trial period for Capture One from thirty days to sixty days. 

A full license for Media Pro 1, the company's photo cataloging and asset management program, is now on sale for US$139, and discounts apply to upgrades from this program's previous manifestations (as Microsoft Expression Media and as iView Media Pro).

Phase One's web site detected our location and showed us only US dollar prices, but we believe the discounts are available to European buyers as well.
