Corel has released an update to AfterShot Pro, which brings the raw conversion/photo workflow software to v1.0.1. Highlights in this update include improved highlight recovery and new editing effect plugins for color correction and film simulation.

The update also adds raw file support for 20 new cameras, including the Nikon D800/D800E, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III and PowerShot G1 X, the Olympus OM-D E-M5, and models from Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Pentax, and others. 

The update is available for all three versions of AfterShot Pro -- Windows, Mac, and Linux -- and it's free to registered users of the software.
