| Apple posts Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.13 |

Apple has released Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.13 for the Mac OS. It adds support for the RAW formats of six additional digital cameras including the Canon EOS-1D X and Nikon D800E.
The full list of newly-added cameras is as follows:
- Canon EOS-1D X
- Nikon D800E
- Nikon D3200
- Olympus OM-D E-M5
- Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF5
- Sony Alpha SLT-A57
Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.13 is available via the Software Update mechanism of Mac OS X 10.6.8 or 10.7 or later, or as a standalone updater. Applications that make use of the RAW decode support in the operating system include Aperture, iPhoto and the Finder. (In some instances you may not be able to run this updater unless you have a recent version of iPhoto or Aperture installed.)
