A post on Reddit recently alerted us to
a great story of pluck and luck published six years ago by a University of Montana (USA) publication called
Main Hall to Main Street. The article recounts a day in the 1990s when four of the University's photojournalism students scooped the world.
Alerted to the U.S. FBI's impending arrest of the Unabomber, a domestic terrorist the agency had been hunting for nearly two decades, the quartet followed an unlikely hunch that led to their photos running on the cover of
Newsweek, in
The New York Times, and in many other international publications.
