Fuji yesterday announced the availability of the FinePix S1 Pro digital camera on US shores. A Fuji press release pegs the street price of the camera at under US$4000.

Until March 31, 2001, the camera will include a coupon for up to US$200 off certain Tamron lenses, including the SP AF 14mm f2.8.
More and more sites are posting reviews and sample photos from Fuji's digital SLR. They include Steve's DigiCams, Imaging Resource and Lonestar Digital. Note that in keeping with the focus of this web site - the use of digital cameras in photojournalism - I don't intend to review the S1 Pro.
