Todd Buchanan notes the impending launch of Boingo Wireless should help to consolidate and ease access to various wireless providers and their 802.11b (ie Apple Airport) networks across the US, Canada, Mexico and the UK. To access the service requires a dedicated client, which will be Windows-only initially. A Mac client is expected in 2002.
