| Photojournalists travel Africa |

100 photojournalists from around the world, including Blue Pixel partner Kevin Gilbert, will spend February 28, 2002 photographing the African continent with nothing but digital cameras for an upcoming Day in the Life of Africa photo book. A Lexar Media press release notes that the company's CompactFlash and SmartMedia cards will be used to store images shot with the Olympus E-20 and Olympus C4040 digital cameras each photographer is to be equipped with. A web site and traveling exhibition will accompany the Day in the Life book. It's to be published November 1, 2002.
