| Monaco introduces new monitor and camera profiling tools |

Monaco Systems yesterday unveiled a monitor profiling package for both CRT and LCD monitors. The US$299 MonacoOPTIX includes a new-design colorimeter; the software is compatible with Windows, Mac OS 9 and OS X (the same colorimeter replaces the MonacoSENSOR in MonacoEZColor, the company's entry-level colour management suite). Also new is MonacoDCColor, a US$399 profiling package for digital cameras that builds profiles from the GretagMacbeth ColorChecker, GretagMacbeth ColorChecker DC or reflective HutchColor HCT targets. The software runs under Windows, Mac OS 9 and OS X (web site not updated).
