| Lexar ships Pro Series 2GB CompactFlash card |

Lexar Media announced today that they have begun to ship the US$700 Pro Series 2GB CompactFlash card. The 2GB card carries a 40X speed rating (it had been unveiled originally as a 32X card) and incorporates Lexar's Write Acceleration technology for improved performance with compatible cameras, including Nikon and Kodak digital SLR models. Bundled with the card is Lexar's photo recovery application Image Rescue and a USB 1.1 Jumpshot cable card reader.
