Photo District News reports that legendary war photographer James Nachtwey is among several recipients of the the 2003 Dan David Prize, a US$500,000 award for "exceptional excellence in the arts, sciences, humanities and public service." PDN also reports on Canadian photojournalist Steve Simon's ongoing America At The Edge project, a photographic look at life along the Canada-US border.
