| Apple drops price on Powerbooks |

Reuters reports that Apple has dropped the price of its 12" and 15" Powerbooks by up to US$300 in the US. The price of the 17" Powerbook is unchanged. News articles on several Mac news web sites indicate that other regions of the world have seen similar price reductions, including Canada.
