Four cards added to CompactFlash Performance Database

Four new CompactFlash cards have been added to the in-camera write speed and card-to-computer performance sections of the CompactFlash Performance Database. Joining the 43 cards already in the Database are:
Sandisk's Ultra II 1GB and Extreme 1GB. Announced today, these cards are also covered in a separate article.
Transcend's 1GB Ultra Performance 45X. Announced earlier this month, Transcend's line of 45X cards are available in 512MB, 1GB and 2GB capacities. As you'll see, the 1GB model acquitted itself well in all digital SLR models currently being tracked in the Database.
We've also updated the Lexar Media 4GB 40X WA results based on the testing of a production model of this high-capacity CompactFlash card. Previously, an engineering sample unit had been used.
