Nikon Canada this week has lowered the list price of two of its three current digital SLR models:
- The D100 kit, which includes the EN-EL3 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery and Quick Charger MH-18, sees its list price drop from CDN$2499 to CDN$2249. The street price should settle out at about CDN$2200.
- The D1X Set 1 (which includes an EN-4 NiMH Rechargeable Battery, Quick Charger MH-16 and Nikon Capture 3.5.1) list price drops from CDN$6250 to CDN$5850, though its street price is roughly the same as before at about CDN$5500.
- The D1H Set 1 list and street prices stay the same at CDN$3750 and about CDN$3550, respectively. Set 1 includes an EN-4, MH-16 and Capture.
Some Canadian dealers may also sell the D1X and D1H in a body-only configuration. As always, individual dealers sets the price they charge for the products they sell; those prices may not be identical to the ones stated above, though they are likely to be close.
