George Mann of dpmac recently got a tour of the Nikon factory in Ayuthaya, Thailand where the D70 is being manufactured. He's published a brief report and an interesting set of photographs from the tour. Mann says that Nikon plans to manufacture 800,000 D70 cameras at this factory in 2004.
