Epson today has announced a rangefinder digital camera that accepts most Leica M-mount lenses and is modeled after the Voigtlander Bessa line.
The R-D1, co-developed with Cosina, features a 3008 x 2000 pixel photo from its 6MP sensor, a 1.5x focal length cropping factor relative to 35mm film, a twist-and-flip rear LCD display and a thumb winder to reset the shutter after each photo.
Digital Photography Review has specifications and photos of the R-D1.
