Digital Photography Review has published a press release from Fujifilm that reveals additional information about the upcoming S3 Pro digital SLR, which is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2004.
The press release says that the S3 Pro will have several "film simulation modes", which will attempt to replicate the look of certain unspecified slide and negative films. Other features mentioned include half-second startup, a vertical position shutter release, and selectable color spaces (sRGB and Adobe RGB).
The release also mentions two features related to manipulating the data from the camera's Super CCD SR II double-photodiode sensor, one of which supposedly adjusts or affects dynamic range, but the descriptions left us puzzled more than anything else.
