Kodak's Austin Development Center has released the DIGITAL GEM Professional Plug-In for Photoshop 5.0 or later on Windows or Mac. Like the standard DIGITAL GEM Plug-In, the professional version reduces noise and grain in digital images.

New features for the professional version include an additional grain suppression algorithm, a "Noise Preview Screen" to judge the effects of the plug-in's various controls, and support for 16-bit images.

A free trial download is available, and the fully licensed version costs US$99.95.
