Kodak has posted free updates to the firmware for the DCS Pro SLR/n, DCS Pro SLR/c, and the DSC Pro 14n and 14nx. All three firmware updates are labeled version 5.2.1, and appear to consist of bug fixes only. All three are available for both Windows and Mac.
The updates can be found by navigating the registration and drop-down menus on Kodak's web site starting here.
According to Kodak, the changes in firmware v5.2.1 for the DCS SLR/n, 14n, and 14nx are:
- Fixed problem that occasionally caused "blurry" images with VR lenses.
- Fixed problem that caused partial dark images when using flash with mirror prerelease.
- Fixed problem that caused occasional image corruption in burst mode on some cameras.
For the DCS SLR/c, changes in firmware v5.2.1 are:
- Fixed problem that caused occasional image corruption in burst mode on some cameras.
