Version 1.6 of Canon's Digital Photo Professional is expected to add a Stamp tool for cloning out dust spots, support for RAW files from the EOS D60 and Digital Rebel XT and 5-6x faster thumbnail display (though at the expense of thumbnail clarity apparently).

Digital Photo Professional 1.6 will be bundled with the Digital Rebel XT when it ships in March 2005. An update to the program for existing Canon digital SLR owners is to be released on the web sometime after the Digital Rebel XT hits store shelves, says Chuck Westfall, Canon USA's Director of Technical Marketing.
