In a post today on the Sports Shooter web site's message board, photographer Rick Rickman says that in a week of shooting he has been "extra-ordinarily pleased and surprised" with Nikon's upcoming D2X digital SLR.

The long post describes Rickman's favourable impression of both the camera's image quality and its ability to quickly switch in and out of High Speed Crop mode.
