| Epson announces program to guarantee print longevity |

Epson has announced an initiative, which it has named the UltraGiclee print certification program, that will guarantee inkjet prints made on some of the company's printers to last 80 years without visible fading.
The program will apply to selected Epson printers, papers, and the company's UltraChrome inkset. It requires participating printmakers to undergo Epson-sponsored training in proper printing and finishing techniques.
Prints made and displayed according to the program's standards will receive a certificate of authenticity and an 80-year guarantee against fading from Epson. If a warranted print fades, Epson will provide the ink and paper needed to make a replacement print.
