CNET News.com has a report on the premature publication of an Adobe press release announcing Photoshop CS2, the first major update to the application since September, 2003.

The press release is dated April 4, but it appeared briefly over the weekend on Adobe's web site where it was found and cached by the Googlebot and then subsequently discovered by a reader of the Neowin tech news site who performed a Google search for the rumored software.
