Digital Photography Review has published a short interview with Dave Coffin who is the author of dcraw.c, a free program that decodes and converts RAW image files from more than 150 digital cameras.
In the interview, Coffin discusses the encoding, compression, and encryption of RAW files from numerous camera manufacturers, including Canon, Nikon, Phase One, and Sony.
