| Apple releases OS 10.4 "Tiger", new G5 Power Macs |

Apple has officially announced the release of OS 10.4, a.k.a. "Tiger". It will sell for US$129.
The company has also recently announced three new dual G5 Power Mac computers, which will ship with OS 10.4 installed. You have a choice of three configurations: a dual 2.0GHz (US$1,999), a dual 2.3GHz (US$2,499), and a dual 2.7GHz (US$2,999).
