| North American digital camera sales still growing |

Market research firm Infotrends/Cap Ventures predicts that unit sales of digital cameras in North American will reach a new record of 26 millions in 2005, up 16% from last year.
The company also forecasts that digital camera unit sales in North America will peak at 28 million in 2006 and decline thereafter.
Unit sales of digital SLRs specifically continues to grow at a much faster rate than the overall digital camera market and should increase by 81% in 2005, according to the Infotrends report.
