A public beta version of the upcoming Photo Mechanic 4.4 for Windows and Mac is slated to be posted later today on the Camera Bits web site (the company earlier this month opted to delay the general release of a beta version while they shored up certain key features). Camera Bits' Dennis Walker says that, unless user testing reveals any show-stopping bugs, the official release of v4.4 could take place as soon as this week.
