Camera Bits has now posted Photo Mechanic 4.4 Public Beta, a pre-release version of the upcoming revision to the pro photo browser for Windows and Mac.

Photo Mechanic 4.4b11-21 is the version number for both the Windows and Mac installers; the download page on the Camera Bits web site suggests that users check back often for new beta updates. Earlier today, Dennis Walker of Camera Bits indicated that if no significant bugs are found by testers that the official version of 4.4 could be rolled out as early as some time this week.
