Following quickly on the heels of yesterday evening's release of a new beta of the next major release of Photo Mechanic, Camera Bits today has posted for download v4.4b11-24. Changes in yesterday's and today's beta releases, as outlined in an email from Camera Bits to testers, include:

• fixed copy function so that it doesn't add any IPTC/XMP if the Apply Stationery Pad is not checked. Previously, PM would always add at least the IPTC date and time even if the stationery wasn't being applied. However, now that PM can embed IPTC/XMP into RAW photos, unless the Apply IPTC Stationery button is checked for Ingest or Copy, then no IPTC/XMP will be added to RAW photos.
  
  
• fixed problems with IPTC Info dialog's buttons for Copy and Paste and Save & ->.
  
  
• IPTC lists now distinguish between lower and upper case so you can have both an ALL CAPS version of a field (e.g. photographer) and a lower case version of a field.
