Photojournalist Adrin Snider has developed a CompactFlash card case that attaches directly to a digital SLR or other camera.
Called the Digital Remora, it accepts up to four CF cards in two easy-eject slots; a sliding cover provides access to inserted cards. It features a 1/4-20 threaded bolt on one side for attachment to a camera's tripod socket and a 1/4-20 socket on the other for placement atop a monopod, tripod or other 1/4-20 threaded device. Its name appears to be derived from the small fish known for attaching itself to sharks and other large undersea creatures.
The Digital Remora is US$50 + shipping direct from Snider in Newport News, Virginia, USA.
