The 2006 World Press Photo Contest is open for entries. The submission deadline is January 12, 2006. The contest is open to professional photographers only, and there is no entry fee.

Contest rules and an entry form can be downloaded from the World Press Photo website. Entries must be made on CD or DVD (prints are also accepted) and mailed to Amsterdam, The Netherlands to arrive on or before the January 12, 2006 deadline.
