The April 2006 issue of The Digital Journalist has been posted. Articles include:

• A tribute to photographer, filmmaker, and novelist Gordon Parks, who died last month
• An introduction to a story package from the Rocky Mountain News, called Final Salute, with pictures by photographer Todd Heisler and text by reporter Jim Sheeler. The highly regarded story, which first ran last year, is rumored to be among the front runners for a Pulitzer Prize
• Some ruminations by Greg Kelly on the photographers he interviewed for a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television documentary called "Beyond Words: Photographers of War".
